Ho conosciuto il brand Jupe by Jackie durante l’ultima settimana della moda milanese quando ho trascorso un’intera giornata girovagando tra gli stand del WHITE a caccia di novità e di brand particolari.
I first came across Jupe by Jackie brand during the last Milan Fashion Week when I passed a day wandering around the WHITE exhibitors, looking for something new and for stunning brands.
Jupe by Jackie nasce all’inizio del 2010 nei Paesi Bassi dalla creatività della designer Jackie Villevoye che ha pensato ad una linea moda fortemente ispirata alla tradizione manifatturiera indiana: grazia, personalità, cura per la realizzazione (interamente artigianale), sono le caratteristiche principali dei capi prodotti da Jupe by Jackie, oltre che l’utilizzo come materiale primario della seta e le rifiniture curate nei minimi particolari.
Jupe by Jakie was born in 2010 in Netherlands from the creativity of the designer Jackie Villevoye who has designed a collection strongly inspired by the indian handcrafting tadition. Grace, personality, care for the manifacturing process (interely hand-crafted): these are the main features of the collection produced by Jupe by Jackie, as well as the employment of silk like primary material and a carefulness for the trim sizes.
La collezione maschile è caratterizzata da un capo principe, il papillon, conosciuto anche come bow tie. Personalmente è un capo che adoro e trovo che si adatti a uomini di tutte le età, basta saperlo abbinare e soprattutto basta scegliere tra la vasta proposta di Jupe by Jackie le cui fantasia e rifinitura non convenzionali sono adattissime allo stile di uomo dei giorni nostri. Ho avuto anche la fortuna di ricevere un esclusivo modello di bow tie in regalo e sto pensando a come utilizzarlo, perché, lasciatemelo dire, con il giusto look, magari una semplice camicia bianca e un jeans, anche una donna può pensare di utilizzarlo.
The men’s collection is characterised by what we used to call papillon, also known as “bow tie”. I love it and I think that is ageless, you just need to match it in the right way and the Jupe by Jackie collection is a great opportunity because of the the wide variety of fantasies and unconventional trim sizes. I’ had also the pleasure to receive a present by Jupe by Jackie: a fantastic bow tie, and, right know, I’m thinking how to use it in one of my outfit. Yes, I think that also a woman can use a bow tie with the right look, maybe a simple white shirt and a jeans.
The woman’s collection is characterised by blouses and bon-ton dresses made with the same high quality materials such as silk and refined with romantic details such as collars and rosettes. A jump in the past, with an enchanthing vintage allure. I don’t know why but the look book pictures remind me of a picture book of “Alice in Wonderland” that I have in my bookshelf since I was a child: this collection makes me dreaming!
